Bellamy Genn Group Adds Luwanda Jenkins To Its Team

ANNAPOLIS, MD. – The Bellamy Genn Group, LLC,* an Annapolis based government relations firm announced today the addition of Luwanda W. Jenkins to the firm as Senior Government Relations Associate.

Luwanda brings an unparalleled breadth of experience in the public and private sectors, including various state government positions as a cabinet-level secretary in the O’Malley Administration; Chief of Staff to Coppin State University president; Chief Operating Officer, the Greater Baltimore Committee LEADERship program, Vice President Community Relations & Diversity, The Cordish Companies, and Community Relations Director, CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield and The Baltimore Sun. She is best known for her leadership and advocacy on behalf of Maryland’s small businesses, building expertise in small and minority business policy, state procurement and supplier diversity.

Jenkins was a Democratic candidate for Lt. Governor and running mate with State Senator Richard Madaleno (D- Montgomery County) in the 2018 Maryland gubernatorial primary.
