Bellamy Genn Group Managing Partner Honored with Maryland Government Relations Association Outstanding Colleague Award

Bellamy Genn Group Managing Partner and Founder, Lorenzo Bellamy, was honored by the Maryland Government Relations Association with the Outstanding Colleague Award. The Maryland Government Relations Association (MGRA) is the state association dedicated to exclusively serving state government relations professionals. Since 1984, MGRA has been providing our members across the private sector and nonprofit organizations, government agencies, and lobbying firms with valuable opportunities to network and interact with their peers, key state officials, and public policy experts.

MGRA was formed in 1984 to encourage the professional development as the state association for persons working in the field of government relations. Our members include those from private for-profit and nonprofit organizations, government agencies, and lobbying firms.

The group has grown from a few women in the government relations field who joined together 30 years ago, to more than 200 members with active events throughout the year.

MGRA promotes educational and networking opportunities for busy professionals who work as lobbyists, government affairs executives, state legislative liaisons, and nonprofit representatives. The organization will sometimes take official positions on related legislative issues, the items on the agenda at the member events reflect the membership and the interests they represent.
