Susan J. Pitcher has been the backbone of the Law Office of J. William Pitcher since 1998 when she became the Director of Operations, overseeing all office administrative and financial responsibilities, filings of all matters relating to state registrations and disclosures for the firm’s lobbyists as well as the coordinator on business entertainment and special events.
Prior to joining the Law Office of J. William Pitcher, Susan’s business experience began in 1971 as part of the elite Executive Training Program with Bloomingdale’s of New York rising through the ranks as a Departmental Operations Manager, Assistant Buyer and finally as a Special Projects Merchandise Manager. Susan moved to Maryland in 1975 after getting married and became a Merchandise Manager for Hutzler’s in Baltimore as well as a buyer of fashion and fine jewelry. Susan has also been active in the community for more than twenty years serving as a Co-Chair of the Alzheimer’s Association Memory Walk, Committee Chair for the Hunt Meadow Homeowners Association, Member of the Bella Vista Condominium Board of Directors, President of the Admiral Parents Association at Severn School and a member of the Annapolis Board of Supervisors of Elections.
Susan graduated with honors from the State University of New York – Fashion Institute of Technology with a degree in Fashion Buying and Merchandising. Susan and her husband, reside in Annapolis.
