TWO MAJOR ANNAPOLIS LOBBYING FIRMS JOINING FORCES
The Bellamy Genn Group is pleased to announce that Government Relations Veteran, Bill Pitcher, is joining their government relations practice under the Bellamy Genn Group banner.
Lorenzo Bellamy, Managing Partner, Majority Owner and Founder said, “With the addition of a respected and experienced attorney and government relations expert, we now have over 120 years of combined governmental and legal skills to call on for our clients. We have lived up to our motto of “Tested – Trusted – Proven” and now “Chosen.” I am looking forward to adding breadth to our firm and expanded success for our clients.”
Bill Pitcher said, “With Julia joining PhRMA as a regional government relations manager, I decided this was the perfect time in my career to merge with a full-service firm. After meeting with several firms, it was an easy choice to choose to join the Bellamy Genn Group.
From the very beginning, it was clear in discussions with Managing Partner, Majority Owner and Founder, Lorenzo Bellamy and Co-Founder Gil Genn, and their team of Sarah Peters and Luwanda Jenkins, that we had so much in common in values and professional approach, this would be an easy and fun transition.“
Pitcher continued, “I’m also delighted that Lorenzo and Gil have asked Susan Pitcher to come on board to run their Ethics and Compliance Department, something that Susan has done for me for over 20 years. I am pleased to say that our clients will be fully integrated into the Bellamy Genn team. They are extremely pleased that I chose Bellamy Genn and are looking forward to augmenting their representation with me on the Bellamy Genn team.”
Former Delegate Gil Genn, said, “I have known Bill Pitcher for over 30 years since his days as Legislative Assistant for Lt. Governor Mickey Steinberg. His integrity, experience and tenacity balanced with an ever-present smile and laugh, will bring great synergy to the Bellamy Genn Team, our clients and our relationship with government officials.“
Lorenzo added, “we look forward to seeing many of our friends at our upcoming MACo reception in Ocean City to meet our energized team.”
